Great atmosphere and view of the lake. Attended a wedding reception and had a great time. Only downside was being turned away as parking lot was closed off. Had to park in a garage and walk a good distance.
I used this venue for my 40th birthday party and this event space did not disappoint! The views of Cleveland and the lake are some of the best around and my guests were able to enjoy the sunset! The space itself has a neutral modern clean design that can be dressed up or left as is. My guests loved the food and drinks.
Everything was perfect! From the first contact I had with Lisa, to the final guest out the door at our event, everything was seamless. The staff is accommodating, the food and drinks are top notch, and the physical space is stunning! I would recommend Nuevo to anyone!
This has to be one of the best and most scenic places to have a large or smaller event In downtown Cleveland. Highly recommended!
Getting married at Lakeside Event Space at Nuevo
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
