We are former Sayville residents, as we grew up here. We have been booking monthly stays here for the past several years. Our recent July stay in room 10 was again awesome. Patty and the ladies that work there go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
I stayed here with all my guests for my wedding 9/1/23. Everything was perfect. Waking up in the morning and feeling like we are directly on the water was amazing in the bridal suite. All my guests were very happy with the convenience and enjoyed hanging out on their property before and after the wedding.
We had a wonderful time in the lovely room 16 last month. With hectic summer schedules we were able to carve out a day before commitments took us in different directions. The location is amazing, the room is everything it appears in the listing and more.
Lands end is a classic Motel. The location on the water is fantastic and my room was modern and clean. Enjoyed several self catered meals at the outdoor seating area in the hedged yard in front of the rooms. Staff was helpful and informative.
Getting married at Land's End Motel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
