From the reviews
Mike and Tamarin assured that every detail of our stay at Larson Bay Lodge was perfect! We arrived the afternoon before our first day of fishing to a delicious gourmet meal. Every meal For the next four days was incredible. Our cabin was warm and comfortable. It offered an incredible view of the bay.
Our experience at Larsen Bay Lodge was nothing short of unforgettable. From start to finish, every detail was handled with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. The location itself is breathtaking—set in a remote and pristine part of Kodiak, surrounded by incredible scenery and wildlife.
Awesome father/son trip with another family. Lodging was comfortable and clean with awesome views and great food. Staff (from top to bottom) was both highly professional and extremely helpful. Everyone greeted us w smiles and was very knowledgeable. The captains and guides were awesome and certainly put us on the fish.
Getting married at Larsen Bay Lodge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
