From the reviews
This resort had everything we needed, and more! The grounds are beautifully kept, and the banyan pool is definitely an oasis. Staff are nice, and the rooms were spacious. Some units have AC, but not all, however they are working on that.
Only gave them a 4 because the roosters start crowing at 2 am and crow all night. Otherwise the location is great, there are 3 pools and a couple hot tubs. Ocean access across the road. Drank coffee on the lanai and watched the whales breach. Loved it
I stayed at this resort and really enjoyed the convenience of the location. Being so close to the water made it easy to head down for a quick swim or to watch the sunset whenever I felt like it.
It's a great place, a little off the hustle and bustle of the nearby big resorts. Near the historical small old town of Koloa. Across the street from a small beach with excellent snorkeling. Folks and staff are nice. Rooms are comfortably appointed with full kitchen.
Getting married at Lawai Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
