As always the front 8 holes are spectacular. Going through Lighthouses own amen corner (4,5,6) is always scary, exciting and exhilarating, and views upon views! Playing from the tips and you feel how the course was designed to play, but not for the faint of heart.
Played June 2025 as round 1 of a weekend OCMD trip. Course was in great shape. Views obscured by fog, but you could tell it would've had incredible sightlines otherwise. Sadly not really a walking course as there are distances between many greens & tees, including the long cart bridge.
I play this course every year in May and it's always in excellent shape and challenging. Will definitely keep coming back. Easily one of the best courses in the Ocean City area.
Getting married at Links At Lighthouse Sound
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
