What a wonderful experience. The cabins are very nice and clean with a country charm. Everything you could possibly need is provided kitchen supplies, grill and front porch for the kayak and water toys. Very family friendly with plenty to keep the kids happy, dog friendly as well.
Wonderful place! We spent 4 nights there and I wish we would have had longer. Very cute cottage and our kids loved all the extras. We have two teenagers and a 9 year old and all 3 had a great time. The lake was gorgeous and the beach was very nice and clean. Very family friendly.
Came here last summer with my husband and toddler. We came in the summer, but unfortunately the water was still cold. My son ended up getting sick. The sunrise and sunset were absolutely breathtaking! Everyone there was nice and got along.
Just got back from spending memorial day weekend here. Pros: kid friendly, clean private beach, lots of seating on the beach, great staff, quiet. Some of the cons: our water heater kept going out, no way to cool off your cottage (one ceiling fan in living room doesn't help), it says blatantly in the rules no pitbulls…
Getting married at Lusky's Lakefront Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
