Oceanside rooms where sometimes you get spray from the waves on your patio you are so close. We left the door open all night to the sound of the crashing waves of Malibu and the view of wide open ocean and in June the temperature was perfect.
This hotel is literally on the beach, the closet you can get to having an ocean view. Waking up and being able to see the water while still laying in your bed is a game changer. Great hotel with great staff.
Absolutely amazing stay at Malibu Beach Inn. From the moment we arrived, the service was top notch. Every staff member was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to make the experience special. The view alone is worth it.
This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It isn't large, so they can pay special attention to each guest and make you feel like family! From the moment we arrived, we always felt welcome, at home and at peace. We stayed with our 8 year old son for a few nights.
Getting married at Malibu Beach Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
