Mallard is a gorgeous wedding venue sitting on the manahawkin bay right off the causeway. The beautiful bay breeze, the adirondack chairs, the chapel, the garden area..each little pocket of the venue has something different and unique to offer. The staff is top of the line, they are on the money with everything.
Would give this place 6 stars out of 5 if I could. My wife and I had our wedding there in August, and it was a dream come true. The staff is incredible and amazing; very professional, organized, attentive, helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable.
This was the EASIEST review to write!!! My husband and I got married at Mallard on 4/4/26, and it is the absolute perfect location for a wedding! From the moment we first met Jeanne in late September, we knew we were in the best hands.
My daughter's wedding on May 1, 2026 at this location was spectacular. They treat you like royalty! The service is IMPECCABLE! Thank you to all the dedicated staff for making her day so delightful. Our guests raved about the location, the food and the service.
Getting married at Mallard Island Estate
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
