From the reviews
Marina Park Community Center in Newport Beach is a lovely community center and park that is right on the beach. The community center is beautifully designed with a green lighthouse.
Great little park with lots of parking. They rent Kayaks! There's a small beach with no waves.
Great spot. 4.5 stars but rounded up. Water, grass, playground, restaurants, boats… something for everyone. For me, it’s a place to slow down and take in the sights and just chill… catch up w me and self care. I see people walking their dogs and having play dates at the playground w other parents.
Wow the views are amazing 📸 was invited to a memorial for a friend...very nice place, need to pay for parking or you'll have a long walk....🌊🏖️🩴👙⛱️💦🚣♀️🏄
Getting married at Marina Park Community Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
