We had our wedding on March 28, 2026 at Marriott Sanibel and I just want to start off by saying it was PERFECT. Joanne was our point of contact at the Marriott and she was helping us for over 6 months to make sure we had the perfect wedding day.
We had our wedding at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort & Spa and it was absolutely incredible. From the beginning of the planning process through the wedding day, everything was handled so professionally and seamlessly.
We just had our wedding here and it was absolutely spectacular! The ceremony at the beach cove was picturesque. Having the cocktail hour on the balcony allowed for superb sunset photos and the reception in the ballroom overlooking the water was just dreamy! The service was top notch.

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge.
