From the reviews
Of the many Marriott properties at which we've stayed, this is one of the very best! The rooms are large, well equipped, and perfect for multi-generational families. The pools are clean and large enough to handle the number of guests. The location is right on the beautiful beach. Excellent staff everywhere!
Peaceful and quiet with a beautiful pool. The balcony provides a nice view of the beach and ocean. The suite has a modern open layout with a large kitchen. Plenty of parking including indoor garages.
Ok my review about this place is not based on just the place itself. I am comparing it to other Marriott properties. My family and I had talked with other Marriott owners and they told us this was one of their favorite places. So we booked it and came to see how it was.
Great location, beautiful beach and very nice villas. Staff is very responsive to our needs. Had an electrical issue in the kitchen (outlets & microwave not working) and engineering was here within a few minutes and fixed. He found the circuit had tripped when he checked the panel box hidden behind a picture.
Getting married at Marriott's Crystal Shores
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
