My husband and I recently got married at MSC in July 2024 and it was the best decision we made in all of wedding planning! Everything about the club was exceptional - the food, the service, the atmosphere. Leading up to the big day, our menu tasting was very organized and fun.
Our wedding reception was hosted at the Michigan Shores Club, and we were thrilled with how everything turned out. MSC provides the perfect backdrop for a classic, traditional wedding reception. Director of Events & Catering Irene Aceves is a huge asset to the Club.
Had my daughter's wedding shower in the Canterbury room. Everything was exceptional. All of our guest enjoyed the experience. Service was phenomenal and the food was perfect. Some guests commented that it was the best filet they ever had. The view was awesome.

Getting married at Michigan Shores Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
