An awesome, waterside wedding venue! As a wedding photographer who lives in the Greater Mystic area, I'm a big fan of Mystic Yachting Club. Firstly, the location is great; the venue is right down the street from downtown Mystic and there are plenty of accommodations (hotels) in the area.
To Ariana and team, thank you so much for helping coordinate our wedding. You represent the venue but you were always so kind, willing to listen to my feedback, work with us and I am so grateful! Maybe I’m a cynic or just still a city girl at heart, but I had low expectations for the event.

The yachting Club at willow point was a wonderful venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. The staff was well prepared, exceptionally polite and facilitated every need of our wedding party and guests needs. We are truly thankful for all the hard work they put in for our day.
Getting married at Mystic Yachting Club at Willow Point
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
