A delightful surprise! Fully equipped villa directly oceanfront in a fantastic location. Everything you could need and more. Appreciate the luggage carts, the staffing levels and willingness to assist and guide newcomers. The bedding was fresh and clean with plenty of pillows and a great quality mattress.
The resort has beautiful pools, but there was a lot of construction going on that we were not made aware of ahead of time. The villas are getting dated and are in need of renovations. The carpets are hard from being cleaned too many times and we were in a villa with worn furniture both inside and outside.
We enjoy often the opportunity to stay at North Beach resort. It’s a great location and a beautiful resort and makes us feel like we’re in our own little world here at Myrtle Beach. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are as well. Amenities are nice in the North Beach pizza Company is always a good spot to grab some food.
We had a 2bd, 2ba condo on the 3rd floor so convenient for the cross-over and parking. Two sofas, patio facing the ocean and pool. Had a washer and dryer so we came home with clean clothes.
Getting married at North Beach Resort & Villas
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
