From the reviews
I was recently got married a week ago. The only reason I give 4 stars is parking is not convenient for guests having to risk vehicles getting towed at the expense of me when we had already went way over our budget due to underlying fees. However, the venue was beautiful.
Our daughter was married on the beach and we used the Ocean Club for our reception. The venue is beautiful and intimate. Nigel was wonderful to work with and the food, staff/servers & customer service was exceptional. Thank you for all you did to make sure the wedding was a success.
As a Florida wedding photographer, I have to say—the Amelia Island Ocean Club is next level. The ocean views are unreal, and the whole property has that relaxed, luxury vibe that makes for a total dream day.
I was at an event there the other day it was a very pretty place, Unbelieveable views, and we had a great time. We did have some hiccups while there. The event after us showed up early in the middle of our toast and just start bringing their stuff in, also all their trash bins were full when we got there making it…
Getting married at Ocean Club of Amelia
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
