Beautiful wedding venue on the shores of the Wicomico River. Breathtaking sunsets that photographers will love. The grounds are large so those with elderly/handicapped family will need to plan accordingly. But great open venue for a wedding or anything you want to celebrate.
This lovely waterfront venue features sweeping views of the Wicomico River and all the elegance of an 18th century manor house. Jennifer is so easy to work with and she'll make sure your special day is perfect. Truly a hidden gem in St. Mary's County!
This venue was so breathtaking! I was there this past weekend for the Stevens/Butterfield wedding and it was just so beautiful. The owners of the place were nothing but wonderful and so helpful as well! Definitely recommend!
Getting married at Ocean Hall Events
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
