WOW! Of our two weeks hopping around Alaska, this is the place we enjoyed the most. I'm not even sure where to begin - the views, the hot tub, the decor, the beds - everything was great! From the beginning, communication was wonderful and we felt very welcomed.
The Ocean House Inn met all of our expectations for a place to stay on our vacation! It was right on the water with amazing views of the Kenai Peninsula as well as the Homer Spit. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. There was a hot tub, fire pit, and grill available for use as well!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ocean House and it has been our favorite stop during our two week vacation around Alaska. It felt very cozy and had all the desired amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the decor was perfect.
Spent 3 nights here st Sea Breeze condo and Room 4. Condo and rooms are tastefully decorated, good furniture. Beds are great. Kitchen is a huge plus. Hot tub was nice. Rear upper deck is very nice, with access from rooms. Major perk is proximity to ocean and unrestricted view of ocean. Amazing.
Getting married at Ocean House Inn Hotel and Condos
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
