By far the best hotel in Point Pleasant. Jackie and her husband are wonderful people (owners). Stayed for a friends wedding and will be back with the family very soon. Don’t waste your time staying any place else.
We booked a last-minute stay at the Oceana Hotel, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The rooms are beautiful, impeccably clean, and have a fresh, modern coastal feel.
Stayed with 3 other friends at Oceana By the Sea for MDW in one of the double bed rooms and everything was a 10/10. We all fit comfortably and the rooms were clean as well as recently updated/renovated. You can tell they put a lot of detail and care into the aesthetic of the rooms.

Getting married at Oceana By The Sea
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
