From the reviews
We just returned home from our Son's wedding at Olowalu Plantation House. We cannot recommend it highly enough. The couple worked with Tina over several months as she gave them guidance on how to bring their ideas to life.
Olowalu Plantation House may be the best wedding venue on the island. We’re biased, but we couldn’t dream of anything more magical. The plantation house offers privacy and intimacy that many other venues on the island lack. The brick overlay and bistro lighting create the perfect ambiance for any wedding.
The Olowalu Plantation House for a wedding venue is dream. When I walked out onto the back porch of the main house and saw the mature trees, grass, and view of the inlet bay, I thought I was walking onto a movie set. The imagery was that beautiful and perfect.
Great wedding venue. Beautiful setting. Private secluded acces to the water. We watched whales jumping as we dined.
Getting married at Olowalu Plantation House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
