It has been a few weeks since I have stayed at this Marriot, and I had only planned to stay one night, but when I went into the M Club Lounge and was greeted with a very warm greeting from Deanna, I decided to stay 4 nights.
We just returned from a weekend in Oshkosh for a beautiful family wedding, having had an exceptional experience at the Oshkosh Marriott Waterfront Hotel, where I had to take a moment to share this review. So much credit goes to Deanne in the hotel’s M Club, she is a hospitality goddess.
Great location downtown, right on the river. Walking distance to a number of good restaurants. I spent a lot of time in the lobby doing work, very pleasant. M-club lounge was terrific. Deanna made my wife and I feel extremly welcome. She went above and beyond. Room was good with nice view. Parking easy.
Had such a lovely time here while visiting Oshkosh! Incredible staff (especially loved my experience with Deanna and Makayla!), modern and clean building, quiet room, comfortable bed, and the on-site restaurant had great pizza! Beautiful waterfront room with great views. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Getting married at Oshkosh Marriott Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
