This is my second visit to Our Sunset Place and we are already booked for next year. Wonderful and very friendly hosts, great breakfasts, fantastic location, excellent rooms, very relaxing and peaceful place, and amazing deck overlooking Lake Erie. The mattresses on their beds are wonderful.
Had our honeymoon there, and it was MAGICAL! The only thing better than the view was Bart's hospitality. Everything was beyond perfect, I couldn't think of anything that would have made the stay better. I can't wait to come back.
Our Sunset Place is amazing. Clean, comfortable, perfect location right on the water. It’s a quiet, getaway with beautiful views. My room overlooked the lake with huge windows. It was extremely clean and well kept. The bathroom impressed me too with multiple shower heads for a fantastic experience.
I went with my family and saw Bart he is the B&B owner. Very nice man and showed us a tour of the house. It was beautiful and very relaxing to be in. Million dollar views and build a great relationship with this business. Full support with Bart and great house he has built.
Getting married at Our Sunset Place Bed & Breakfast
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
