This is a hidden gem for large events! Kids Artistic Review (kar) has been holding a national dance competition in Panama City for many, many years. They've always been at the Marina Civic Center until the 2018 hurricane. The competition has been here for the last couple of years.
I had a corporate event at the center. Working with Mary was an absolute DREAM. She was so patient, kind and accommodating. The staff was great and so was the food. I will definitely return for events in the future. Do not hesitate to use this center for any events.
We were here for a dance competition and the venue was nice. Very clean and spacious. Limited parking though and no instructions posted for overflow parking.
Getting married at Panama City Beach Event Center at Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
