From the reviews
We had a wonderful winter stay at Pier B! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfect for warming up after being out in the Duluth cold. Our fourth-floor harbor view was incredible — watching the icy harbor was peaceful and beautiful.
We’ve stayed at Pier B a couple of times and had both lakeside and industrial side rooms. All were spacious, modern, and clean. The location is great, with a lakeside walk straight to Canal Park.
Clean friendly environment with much more to do than sleep the night and leave in the morning! Great location on lake superior with many location around the resort to relax by a gas or wood fire along with a outdoors hot tub and inside pool!
I recently attended a banquet hosted at Pier B, and our bartender, Saul, was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an awesome night with exceptional cocktails! Make sure to request him next time you book a reception here.
Getting married at Pier B Resort Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
