Not the most luxurious hotels, but from a lens of comfort, accessibility, cleanliness and price...you cannot beat it. No need for a car. Walk 5 minutes to 30 great restaurants. Walk 10 seconds to the beach. Walk 1 minute to Publix, Dunk, CVS and a great smoothie place. Bungalow living was great.
A return quick visit back to The Plunge Lauderdale by the Sea. Since finding this property not to long ago I’ve been back 5 Times ….. LOVE LOVE LOVE the staff along with all the amenities at the resort and location. I cannot wait to come back for a longer visit and all thanks to the WONDERFUL staff.
My stay at Plunge Beach was wonderful. Location was great. Beach was amazing. But the best part are the people working here. Eugene was such a nice guy. He was so helpful and so nice. And AJ who works in the coffee shop at the resort was amazing as well.
The staff is what truly makes this hotel. Marie, Suzette, and Eugene were awesome. The bed was comfortable. The rooms were spacious. We were in a suite with 2 bathrooms. The view was nice. The only thing: only some rooms have actual balconies. Most have a sliding door. Overall, still a great experience.
Getting married at Plunge Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
