Went July 4 for the fireworks, But we stopped in at the Marina first to have a drink. There was a great band Raincity Blue playing and we sat outside and enjoyed. The only reason this wasn't a five stars because the bartender on the self serve side was slower than molasses.
Point Robert's marina is one of the best places to visit with family or friends, all sorts of celebrations are held there such as their infamous fourth of July celebrations, which have dunk tanks, slip and slides and presentations from the air force.
Very peaceful and quiet place. Enjoying it immensely. Safe and secure looking marina. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. The ocean is at your door steps, there's no need to drive your boat for quite a while to get there.
Getting married at Point Roberts Marina Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
