Oh River Rocks, River Rocks...as I scoured the county for an upscale restaurant offering delectable prime rib and a more elegant dining experience, I chose River Rocks. Our 4:30 reservation guided us to the north for a formal entrance, while the southside offered an outdoor setting. Kudos to the stellar management, Mr.
Me and my wife have been to River rocks multiple times over the years. It’s a great restaurant with a great view of the river. The last time we were in there we had some tasty drinks and shared some buffalo shrimp nachos. Both our drinks and our food were great. Our server was friendly and very attentive to us.
River Rocks was phenomenal from start to finish. I ordered the blackened chicken bowl, and the flavor was incredible. Everything in the bowl worked perfectly together and it was cooked just right. One of the best meals I have had in a while. Our server Stephanie was absolutely outstanding.
I went to a baby shower here like 10 years ago and remembered the apps were tasty. But I ate here on New Year’s Eve. We made a reservation just incase, thankfully it wasn’t super packed. We got a window seat (we sat inside) with the water view which was nice.
Getting married at River Rocks
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
