“A nice "short" beach, (from entrance to water) there's a boardwalk that's parallel to the shore that makes it easier to walk further down the beach.”

From the reviews
🏕 Camped here via tent in early September. Not crowded at all. The bathrooms 🚻 at the tent campsites were closed, yet Porto potties 🧻 were located in the parking lot . 🚮 Garbage and recycling bins were located in the parking lot as well. Potable water 🚰 was available close by. Showers 🚿 were accessible by the beach.
Nice sandy beach with with camp grounds for longer stays. The beach has sufficient parking for most weekends. It also has two restroom pavilions and a fair amount of grassy picnic area for gatherings. The restrooms were generally clean. Along the east side of the beach is a short boardwalk.
Love the beach. It was Saturday, so there was too much crowd, but I still found some spot to have alone time. Enjoy my time. There is a nice trail, too. Lots of parking space. Good maintenance. Love the way they separate beach area n picnic area. Definitely visit next time.
We tent camped here for 5 nights in the last week of August. Spent a lot of time at the beach. Will most likely camp here again, we had a lot of fun and there are some really unique features to this state park. I think it would be very nice for a day trip as well.
Getting married at Rocky Neck State Park
Rocky Neck State Park is a public beach or park, so a ceremony here almost always needs a permit from the managing city, county, or state parks office — and the rules matter: many public beaches cap your guest count, set ceremony windows, and restrict what you can set up (some ban chairs, arches, and amplified sound entirely). There's no on-site coordinator, catering, or weather backup, so you'll bring your own vendors and a rain plan. The payoff is a stunning setting at a fraction of a private venue's cost. Start with our public-beach permit guide, then call the local office to confirm this season's rules.
