My sister and I just returned from a fun filled couple of days celebrating our shared birthday. I can't say enough about what a fantastic time we had! Everyone we met was great. I feel like we made friends with the entire staff! An unforgettable birthday made even more special by the kind attention of the hotel staff.
Perfect location, within walking distance from so many things in Salem. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and staff was very nice. I liked that we had plenty of pillows and pillow options. And I do enjoy that. You can actually open up your windows if you would like to.
Just spent the weekend in Salem and stayed here. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the hotel was quiet. I also liked the location, we were able to walk to many restaurants and sites nearby. We had cocktails at the Mainstay in the hotel and they were delicious.
Checking in to the Salem Waterfront hotel was a smooth experience. The location is ideal and the room is beautiful. Come visit if you are in the area. You will want to stay extra days.

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
