Enjoyed staying here. Good spot for the money, great views of the water. We found it funny that there was a placard listing the prices of everything in the room, in case you wanted to buy anything. Did come in handy though, and I'm happy with my new (to me) throw pillow.
I would rate my stay a 5. I had everything I needed. Clean room, coffee maker, fridge, modern bath, etc. Fabulous location. Walked to the Sea Breeze Charter boat in 5 minutes. At 5 AM that is a big bonus! Plus having the Pub right downstairs with great food and drink was another added benny.
Rooms are clean, location is stunning and within walking distance to shops and coffee, and the pub food is really good. Its an older building and the walls are thin, but they do have quiet hours and they are enforced.
Getting married at Salt Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
