From the reviews
Shade is plentiful, making me feel this is more of a summer place to camp then spring or fall. Beach has nice views, is large, very rocky and full of shells. Difficult to walk for me because I use forearm crutches. She’ll covered rocks make the stones appear sharp.
Absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful views. It was fun watching all the tiny crabs play in the water. Returned a year later on a drizzly day. The water level was much higher, and we didn't find the fun little crabs. Even shrouded in clouds, it a s beautiful view. Easy walk to shoreline.
I love that there are so many state parks to camp at and there’s always one close enough to you. This campground is only 36 miles from my house, not too close and not to far away. I went with my next door neighbor and her 3 children, they were in a tent and I was in my old truck camper.
Absolutely gorgeous views, breathtaking honestly. Sadly a lot of the beach is private including a large chunk closest to the best views of the cascades, not a fan of people privatizing nature as if it's their's and no one else should get to be there.
Getting married at Scenic Beach State Park
Scenic Beach State Park is a public beach or park, so a ceremony here almost always needs a permit from the managing city, county, or state parks office — and the rules matter: many public beaches cap your guest count, set ceremony windows, and restrict what you can set up (some ban chairs, arches, and amplified sound entirely). There's no on-site coordinator, catering, or weather backup, so you'll bring your own vendors and a rain plan. The payoff is a stunning setting at a fraction of a private venue's cost. Start with our public-beach permit guide, then call the local office to confirm this season's rules.
