This hotel is a great place to stay at, especially if you're looking for a quiet location. Most of the rooms are stand alone units and they have fairly private decks.
The hotel, freshly renovated, was superbly clean and new. The balcony and room directly faced the ocean, offering a magnificent view. It was truly therapeutic to watch the fireplace while listening to the sound of the waves.
We enjoyed a breathtaking view from this beautiful, cozy room with charming old-world style. Although the stay was on the pricier side, the spectacular view truly made it worth every penny. The only minor downside was that the room didn't have a TV. Overall, a wonderful experience! Can’t wait to see you again!
I would put 6 stars if u could, real fireplace, in unbelievable staff and astonishing view! + very affordable
Getting married at SCP Mendocino Coast Lodge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
