On the property
“I was a surfer boy who grew up in the Caribbean, absorbing the heat, but this place, the smell of the Sea air and the view of the water, reminds me of Cape Cod in Massachusetts.”
“Amazing spot to park and take in views of the water, marina activities, and Cascades in the background.”
What couples highlight
“The grass is always well kept and trimmed down low and it's just a beautiful place with a cute little beach right in the middle of town.”
From the reviews
Friends had their wedding here of about 50 guest. The ceremony was outside while the reception was within the small venue. The view was beautiful and park was very clean. Great for walking or picnic and also had a skatepark nearby. Lots of boats coming in and going out.
Lovely little park with a rocky beach. If you want to swim there, you will need water shoes for sure! Nice area for families.
We love this place and come here alot...sometimes to eat lunch and watch the boats pass by, sometimes when it's stormy out to come see the wild waves hitting the little sailboats and most the time we are here is for my daughter to practice her competitive cheer/gymnastics.
Like many of the parks In Anacortes, Seafarers memorial park is very accessible. It has spacious & wide walkways near the parking lot, beautiful views of Cap Santo park, and was very breezy on the day we went.
Getting married at Seafarers Memorial Park
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
