I recently stayed at Shade Hotel in Redondo Beach for our anniversary, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay.
Unbelievable Location!! We had a dinner party celebration in the Horizon room and the outside balconies over looking the harbor and the sunset were very special!! The food and service were first rate! Collette and Mia did an incredible job planning the night and we’re always available for all my questions.

We recently held our daughter's reception at the Horizon Room at Shade. The food and ambiance were fantastic! The ample wrap around balcony was decorated with two sitting areas and heat lamps as well as high top tables.
Getting married at Shade Hotel Redondo Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
