My mom and I went here for our birthdays and the location is so beautiful! There are several water features in the surrounding gardens with statues and curated landscaping with unique foliage like the Australian Evergreen tree feen.
Wonderful scenic location. Excellent staff service , checked in with us several times asking how was the meal, water refill etc. Delicious food and they arrived the table piping hot. Outdoor seating with charming terrace decorations and individual heat lamp.
A lovely restaurant, just a 10 min walk from downtown (it is uphill). We had Roasted Brussels sprouts, salmon, and Shrimp Mac and Cheese. It was all very tasty, and quite filling. Service is exemplary. There is a dress code, however business casual is perfectly fine.
This was our first visit and it was fantastic! We were seated at the “proposal” table for a birthday dinner, ordered a nice Pinot, the bree, beef Wellington, and osso buco. All were delicious! The wait staff was attentive without hovering and all very nice.
Getting married at Shadowbrook Restaurant
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
