We held our wedding here in September and it turned out beautiful. The patio outside is a little tight (we had 90 guests), but the ocean view is gorgeous. The bar area inside has been recently updated and the reception room was the perfect size. Photos by: IVS Photography
We love working this venue! Their staff is great to work with and it works with most wedding styles.
Stayed at 154 shipyard at the greens. 10 minutes walk from the beach. Pool within 50 ft with bathrooms. Beautiful scenery everywhere. Very nice condo, 3 bedroom, 3 bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher, big deck with chair and table, gas grill. Lots of boardgames, TV in every bedroom.
Enjoyed the Shipyard owners Christmas party here, and it was fabulous. The setting is intimate, the view is beautiful and the staff was warm and welcoming.
Getting married at Shipyard Beach Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
