I always enjoy coming here to Shoreline Park in Mountain View California. There’s lots to do and see. You can also rent a watercraft here and enjoy the pond. 👍😎

A beautiful picturesque scenic location to set yourself free from the hustle. Loved the ambience. The location is picture perfect. Couldn't try the boat rides here though, but they seem to be really good too. Highly recommend 👍

Small man made lake with beautiful views. You can rent a variety of boats here. It’s nice as you don’t need to worry about tides as much as you would in the bay. Making it a great place to learn. Windsurfing and sailboats require a class and certification to rent all other boats can be rented by anyone.

Amazing spot for outdoor activities! The lake has beautiful trails for biking, walking, or running, and you can also rent kayaks or just relax by the water. There’s a nice lake house with coffee and snacks too. Important tip: The entrance gate closes exactly at sunset, and the boathouse is about 1.

Getting married at Shoreline Lake Boathouse

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
