My friends and I have been staying Sole East every summer for years and always have the best time. The staff is genuinely so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, which makes such a positive difference in our experience. The property has a great atmosphere, and we especially love the live music and overall vibe.
I have been staying at Sole East for many summers now, and cannot recommend it enough. It is the perfect Montauk spot in terms of location and atmosphere. They offer amazing amenities, it is close to town and an overall really fun vibe. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.
The sole east resort is the best place to stay at. It offers everything you need and more. It’s cool and sexy the grounds are gorgeous. The pool is fabulous with pool beds all around. The staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. We’ve been there 3 years in a row and I don’t think i could love it more.
Getting married at Sole East Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
