The whole camping property is really peaceful and spaced out. We booked the tent cabins and the cabins exceeded our expectations. The staff around the property is really friendly. The campsite also has bikes and sports equipment available.
Clean sleeping areas! Beautiful land right on the beach of Key Peninsula and the surrounding woods. The management is very keen on providing the best experience for campers! The staff genuinely care for their work and will listen to feedback. Would highly recommend 😄
This place is amazing! We booked October 10-12, 2020 & we had a great time even when it rained! When we arrived, they gave us a schedule with the time & date of all the activities they have to offer during our stay.
Getting married at Sound View Camp and Retreat Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
