I recently had my son's graduation party here and it was the best experience I've had. The two gentlemen I spoke to from day one till the day before of the event,were very helpful and communicative. I highly recommend this lodge and I will definitely contact them for my future events. Thank you Jeff and Paul .
My bridal shower was held here! All my guests loved the views from the patio and windows! Bathrooms and Dining Hall were very spacious! Tables, chairs, and bar were provided by the venue so rentals were not needed! We chose to opt out of the catering package so the decor and food was sourced by us.
I was given a heads up that there was an event open to the public at the LA Harbor Masonic Lodge. Their description of said event proved to be right up my alley and soon found my self walking through the lodges front door. Very cool people it was refreshing to be around so many like minded individuals.
Had my son's Christmas program here in their hall. It's an older building but it was a very nice hall. It has a nice view from outside off to the back. It was clean and in a great area. I think the prices are very reasonable as well.
Getting married at South Bay Event Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
