We feel so lucky to have found this place! My son was having a very small, casual wedding and looking for someplace near water and half-way between all of us since we all live in different states. Ohio was the halfway point, and we feel so blessed to have found South Beach Resort!
We were looking for a place for one night during Memorial Day weekend and ended up booking here. Seemed like there was plenty of rooms and cottages on the property and plenty of amenities but didn’t get to use them due to the rainy conditions.
We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The entire property is clean and well-maintained. It’s perfect for kids with so many fun things to enjoy. It’s also an amazing spot for adults to unwind, relax and soak up the beautiful sunshine. Highly recommend!

Getting married at South Beach Resort Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
