We got married at the Lion’s Club last month and it was great. The private beach behind the beach house was perfect for our ceremony. Craig was extremely helpful and informative. We were even able to get into the beach house the night before to start setting up since it was not rented that day.
We are beyond happy to have hosted our wedding at this venue! Hands down best choice I made regarding the wedding beside my fiancé! Craig was great with us and allowed countless amount of visits for measuring, seeing it one more time, and our vendor meetings to ensure everyone knew were they were placing things.
Craig and the Lion's Club hosted our wedding celebration, and it could not have been a more perfect location! Our guests were floored! Everyone loved being right on the beach, and the inside of the club was spacious and easily accommodated our group of 120.
We got married at the lions club Sunday. It was beautiful! Craig made it easy and was so responsive!
Getting married at St Petersburg Lions Club Beach House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
