Our stay at Starfish Manor was truly wonderful. The property was exceptionally clean, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Everyone respected guests’ space while still being available whenever needed.
Nice hotel and great location, but as a solo female traveler, I wouldn't recommend the lower level. There's no private patio — just open lawn access, so other guests can walk right up to your window.

Love that you have a full kitchen so you can eat in if you choose. Comfortable beds and a gas fire place in the living room area. Couch was set up to view the ocean or the TV.
Loved my birthday staycation at the Starfish Manor, I stayed in the Nautica room. The views of the ocean were amazing especially while enjoying it from a jetted tub. And the fireplace adds to the whole experience. It's also a very short walk to the beach.
Getting married at Starfish Manor
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
