From the reviews
Great place to hang with the family. Plenty of well groomed beach to share. This parking space charges $15 for the whole day instead of an hourly rate. It is a commercial beach so there are umbrellas and chairs you can rent along the beach and then a section just behind that you can set up your own canopy and chairs…
Great place with lively beach. Has a lot of folks playing and relaxing. It is kid friendly as well. The parking ranges from 12-20$ depending on days and public holidays. The beach parking has a gate and they shut the gates around sunset. Best time to visit is at 3-7 during summertime.
I've loved going there since I was a kid! I don't know what it is about the sand here it's just so pretty and even though it is the gulf of Mexico it still just hits differently.
We went on a Wednesday afternoon, paid $12 for parking, and rented an umbrella with chairs for $35. The beach was not busy at all. Huge beach with very gradual slope - almost flat. You could walk very far into the water before you were even waist deep. Water was VERY warm.
Getting married at Stewart Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
