From the reviews
The staff works a great deal to make everyone feel good. The Manager Nicole is the sweetest most hardworking woman. Plus everyone that goes there make the beach club a little better. We love it here.
I attended here as a guest, and I have two kids between one and three. From the huts to the Beachside pool to the small tiki bar with drinks between the club and the ocean, the ocean!, and the variety of wooden play structures on the beach, there was plenty to do and enjoy and keep the kids busy!
Beautiful place to spend the day on the beach with family. Nicely renovated beach amenities post-Sandy. Car traffic can get ridiculous, even by typical Jersey Shore standards!
Was in the area visiting family for 4th of july. Really clean beach, and not crowded at all... was $8 to get in which was kind of annoying but it's worth it in my opinion.
Getting married at Surfrider Beach Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
