From the reviews
We stayed one night at this hotel and had a generally good experience. Everything was clean, and the staff was very polite and helpful. While I had a bit of trouble sleeping due to the noise from the window air conditioners, the room had a certain charm.
I recently visited Tavern on the Bay while taking a much-needed break from the busyness of Los Angeles, and it was such an incredible experience. The service was absolutely amazing—warm, attentive, and truly impeccable. What really stood out was how relaxing everything felt.
Great food, great drinks, great views on the deck. Thomas at the front helped us on the phone before coming in and greeted us at the front when we got there. Nadirah was busy and moving around out on the deck. Come get a drink and reellaxxxx
Getting married at Tavern on the Bay Hotel, Marina & Restaurant
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
