This place is Legit! What an amazing venue and the people could not be nicer. Adam is very approachable and easy to talk to. We very excited for Argo's success. Steven is like a swiss army knife. Takes great care of the guests at the door and has some really fun stories about his past.
We loved The Argo venue! It was our first time there, but certainly won’t be our last!! We were grateful for the free, covered parking so close to the venue. The restaurant and bar spaces were beautiful. Our bartender was very friendly and helpful.
The Argo is a cool and unique venue to have in Whitefish Bay. The inside was beautifully remodeled, the people are welcoming and personable, and they offer a variety of events including concerts, trivia, dance lessons, etc.
This was a nice, intimate venue. It was perfect for storytelling from one of my faves, Scythian! You should definitely check them out. Parking was easily accessible.
Getting married at The Argo
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
