We stayed in unit 104 for a couple nights. The unit was very clean and modern. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The best part was how close the rooms are to the beach and the views! Stay on the 2nd floor if you want the best views. It's 20 steps through the pool area and down a beach path to the beach.
The Beach #222 was the perfect spot—so low-key and relaxing, we truly couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The condo had everything we needed, which made our trip even more comfortable and stress-free. Heidi was absolutely the best host! The beach was beautiful, and the view from the balcony was incredible.
This place is a hidden Gem, Checking in was a breeze, Sue is very friendly gave me a bunch of recommendations for restaurants. My room was so quaint & nice, very clean! I was able to enjoy & unwind on the patio & watch the waves crash the white sandy beach. I even saw some giant bunny rabbits & dolphins.
Great right on beach. Don't know about other rooms, but 223 is very small. Nicely decorated.
Getting married at The Beach on Longboat Key Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
