My friend and I had the most incredible stay at The Betsy South Beach, and it was thanks to Fritzner and his amazing team. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the experience was pure effort-LESS luxury. Before we finished explaining our luggage mishap, he’d already sent someone to retrieve it.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the BETSY Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the elegance of the place and the warm welcome. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
The Besty was an absolute dream! The staff was so friendly and attentive. Honestly we had the best time just hanging out in the room, the lobby bar and the pools. Josh from the lobby bar was our particular favorite as he made my birthday very special!
I really loved this hotel. Felt like stepping back in time, but with all modern conveniences and comfort. We brought our three young kids and, while this certainly isn’t a kid centric hotel, we were all graciously welcomed - especially by the “co-CEO” golden retrievers!
Getting married at The Betsy Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
