From the reviews
We recently got married at the BOND and had the best experience. We stayed at the BOND Thursday-Monday and even got ready there with family. While we hired an outside planner to assist with the wedding planning (RD Events and Design), the BOND was an exceptional venue choice.
We stayed here for a few days for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time. The staff members Jess and Sam were amazing and very accommodating. We unfortunately got sick on what was supposed to be our last night there and they let us stay an extra night til we felt better enough to leave. The location is amazing.
I photographed a wedding at The Bond 1835 this past weekend, and Corey and her staff were so accommodating to us as vendors. The rooms are beautifully kept, and they have an amazing getting ready space with so much light for the bride. The ceremony location has a woodsy feel, and the reception felt like a garden party.
We love our two night stay at The Bond!! It’s so charming, very clean, and cozy, and the grounds are so beautiful!!! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious!!!! Thank you, Jessica, for all the tips for what to do around the area and thank you and Corey for being so hospitable.
Getting married at The Bond 1835
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
