My niece got married here this past weekend, and it was magical !! The setting, the food, the help, all of it was just perfect. If you are looking for a perfect wedding day (I am sure they have all kinds of venues) in the perfect setting and having perfect food then look no further.
Really beautiful location for my brother's wedding, the food was delicious and the staff incredibly helpful and kind. My only criticism was the placement of thor guestbook. I actually never saw it. You could put the guestbook near the entrance! It was buried in the back!
A cozy place if that is what you like. Friday afternoon, and not very busy. Kitchen took a while to have our meals served, and very hot indeed. Yes, good food, view is quite good that you can overlook the beach from distance. Martha’s Vineyard is in sight as well but miles and miles out.
Beautiful beach club- good food. Amazing view of the ocean. Great venue for a wedding or special event. Also have a beach bar next door called the Lure.
Getting married at The Club at New Seabury’s Popponesset Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
